A Chapter Closure.

Trying to pull myself together from this petrifying incident.
For those who don't know, read this post.

The food that you never got to finish....
We even got you a new big pack just before you left...

The brooms that were standing straight against the wall
that weren't lying flat on the floor anymore.
You couldn't try sweeping again for the last time.
That funny skill that you picked up from me :)

The gates that were now open to nothingness.
Cause you're not there to greet us anymore.

The bloody gate that happened to be insecured when the murderers came.
Timing couldn't be perfect enough for that unfortunate crime.

Gates that were no longer secured by you.
Corridor's that you no longer slept at.

Your wall of fame where you left your paws on.
While you tried to catch those lizards, but you did anyways.
We had a headache everytime you messed up the flower pots.
But we were glad that we still had you around.

The rose pot that you always ran around in circles.
Even a dragonfly rests there without moving till now.

The incomplete and empty porch we now have...
Everything happened all too fast.
You left me so soon.
When I wasn't ready.
I wasn't ready for goodbyes yet.

Dear readers,

It is clear and very obvious to my family that it was the malay neighbours that surrounded my entire house who requested that our dogs were taken away by the truck.
How cruel could they get by killing our pets.

It's like asking people to assassinate on your behalf.
You're still THE murderer.
Shame on you.

The SPCA actually asked dad to make a police report and make a big press conference but dad decided against it as the dogs were already dead and it would not serve any purpose for us except make it more difficult to get over.. Apparently, we were not the only people whom they broke into their homes to snatch their dogs and later killing them.

Many have tried to report this very same case to the police but without solid proof, other various accusations would be diverted back to us instead
[e.g: your dog attacked people, you never controlled it]
and WE end up receiving a summon, with our dogs already dead.

Where's the justice?
You tell me.
We're living in an unfair world.

Dad reasoned with me that such a complaint right now would be useless and we'd end up with an unreasonable fine. Our dogs are already gone forever anyways.

Let it be.

Sighs, as much as I'd like to hunt these "worse-than-animals" down, I know that I can't do much now but tell the world about this.

So guys, please be cautious.
Don't let them take your beloved pets away... they've already taken mine.

So, this is where I'd close this chapter...
I need to do this for myself, I need to move on.
My beloved pups, I've always loved all of you so very much.
You didn't even get to say your goodbyes.
Cause you never intended to :(

Dearest Bread, Peanuts and Sugar.
Please rest in peace.
God will take care of those people.

You'll be dearly missed :(
Very, very much indeed.

Installation of Rotarian Jason Tan Boon Yew

Congratulations Uncle Jason!
This would be my first very grand formal function.
xD

I loved this band - very talented.
I liked the keyboardist and the violinist.
Maybe the keyboardist more, lol.

Us interactors.
We came for F.O.C while the other
Rotary members and guests had to pay RM90.
*whistles*

We really had fun at the Interactors table.
Everyone else looked pretty robotic.
Until we heard people laughing-snorting at the rotaracters' table.
I managed to catch some rotarians glaring at them in disgust.
That was so funny, haahaaa.

This function I find, was very chinese.
Hahaa, first dish was already the "shark's fin soup".
And the table in front, Tunku Mahkota Johor was seated there.
Yeap, his royal highness was there.

The one in white was kinda sad lar.
The dude fell head first at the beginning and didn't get to do a lot of stunts later on.
The white lion fell about 3 times.
But hey, they persisted on lar, kudos.

The bullies.
Urrm, I mean... gentlemen :P

It was hysterical during the speeches.
"Make dreams real" was the motto.
Jason was delivering his speech with some diction errors.
Hence, he proudly and clearly said, "Make dreams weird".
Twice, LOL.

And he also said, "the crappy patients...".
Wahahahaaa.
I'm sure he didn't mean that, lol.

Sean was.... gay that night, hehe.
Kena kao-kao from everyone at the table.
Sharlinn was enjoying herself, lol.

It's alright Sean.
You contributed to the night.
LOL.

Sue, Sharlinn, Mel and Linda.
I laughed a lot that night. Sheesh.

Us interactors and the new Rotary President.
The 57th one.

WHERE ARE MY DOGS???

I couldn't stop crying...
I still can't.
I finally brought myself together to tell you what the heck just happened.

I came home.
Wondering where all my dogs were....
And when I came in, mum asked me if I noticed anything different.
"Yeah", I said. "Where are our dogs?"
"They're gone... forever".
"What you mean..?", sarcastically.
"The truck got 'em".
"What...?"

That horrid truck that goes around catching dogs and later shooting them to death.
Yeah, that truck.
My world fell apart.

HOW???
HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN??
THEY WERE AT HOME.
THEY WERE IN OUR PORCH, SAFE AND SOUND.

So, this was the story.

Mum got startled by a group of 5 malay men who stood outside our house.
Rudely demanding, "OYYY, CEPAT BAGI I.C.!!!"
My mum, being so afraid as she was home alone, told them to wait and she quickly called dad.
Before she knew it, she came back to see that they entered our house and took ALL THREE of my dogs - Bread, Peanuts and Sugar! And they drove off.

Helpless mum told dad the news.
He drove around looking for that truck but they couldn't find it...
He went to SPCA to report but the owner told dad that there was nothing he could do now.
They would've been all shot dead by now.

SPCA have been trying to fight this people who go around shooting dogs.
FYI, they get RM50 for MURDERING one dog.
But SPCA's got no hard evidence to go against them.

Our family want to file a police report against this people for the offence of breaking in.
How could they just barge into our homes and STEAL our dogs??
They've gone too far this time.

Those idiots are suchhhh.....

&^%$#@!

But my poor dogs... are dead.
They took away 3 lives from me.
My beloved dog and her pups are now dead.
They had to die such a cruel death...
When they could've stayed warm in my arms till they became old and gray...

Whyyyy?
WHYYY????
WHY?????!!!!

I wasn't there for them cause I was in school.
Neither Benroy or dad too.
I could do NOTHING.

MY PUPPIES ARE INNOCENT.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??!
Is God's creation only worth RM50 to you???!
Why did you take them away from me??
WHY???!

I know you guys are Malays and dogs are not "clean" to you.
But it was still GOD who created them!
What made you 'God-enough' to take their lives??

Why weren't you satisfied with the 30 dogs you already had in your truck?
Why weren't you satisfied with only catching the dogs off the streets?
WHY THE HECK did you have to barge into our homes to take 3 dogs away??
MY THREE DOGS?!
Was RM150 so valuable for you to break an entry??
YOU GREEDY &^%$#@!
WHY ARE YOU SO INHUMANE AND STUPID???!!!

I cannot imagine them getting shot by those &^%$#@! and die there...
Cold, scared, lonely... away from home... away from me....
I can't stop crying!!!

I was petrified to listen to this story.
I think you are too :(
It was so ridiculous to me... it was so stupid!
SO STUPID.

Whoever those people are....
I'm sure God will have His way with you.

* * * * * *

So besides our police report later, here's a memorial post for my beloved puppies...
Bread, Peanuts and Sugar.

Ohh gosh, I just can't stop the tears...
Come on Mel, hold yourself together...

This is Bread when we just got her on 11 December 2005.
Cute isn't she? :)
At this time, I just got back from MAD camp 2005.

And so she grew...

Right into our hearts.

She was always so playful whenever she's around us...
Putting smiles on our faces everyday..
She knows how to sit, shake our hands and fetch things for us.
She loves playing ball with us too.

Bread loved sun bathing :)
She EVEN tried many times to sweep the floor by grabbing the broom towards the floor and supported the stick on her back!
So smart, she picked it up from me and dad :)
That's why the broom's always on the floor.

As much as we loved her, she showed her token of appreciation by guarding the house daily.
As fierce as she was, our home was always safe.
And Sue swears Bread hates her.
Nah Sue, it's just that, Bread loves us even more :)

We'd always know if they're something wrong outside the house the minute she barked...
To us, she was our guardian angel around the house.

Hey, look at the Queen of the porch!
She's got a Burger King crown... :)

Hahaa.... Silly Bread. Got herself stuck..
She grew more mature through the couple of years.
And when she was old enough to get stuck with the males...

16 February 2008.
There she is... with another five more :)

The Zoe Puppies.. :) - click on the post to see their birth post.
Zoe means life - Bread just given life to five more.
I was there to witness the beautiful gift of life coming into this world.

Aww, look at Peanuts...
Sleeping peacefully... *hold back tears*

Sugar too... :)
They're so adorable... so beautiful.

Gotcha! :)
Sugar grew up to be a very hyper one!
Sugar-high indeed.

The Zoe siblings... much bigger now... very attached.
Whenever Bread runs around, the other 5 would be tailing behind her in a row!
That was so cute! :D

Peanuts grew up to be a very sweet and obedient dog.
Always looking at us with those adorable puppy eyes.
I can never forget.

I can never forget the time I got locked outside the house cause I didn't have the key.
So while waiting for mum, Peanuts came and accompanied me outside all the way.
She was a girl's best friend in need.

I'll miss you dearly Peanuts.
She was indeed the cutest one among the lot.
She was the most obedient one too :(

I'm so glad they don't know what happened to their other 2 siblings.
At least the other three - Oreo, Milo and Cookie have a cozy home to live in.
I'm so glad the brothers didn't follow their sisters, and their mum... :(

There's my Sugar :)
Goodbye... You'll always be right here in my heart...
I'll really miss you.... *tear*

Bread... you've given me so much joy and laughter...
You've always protected us... I love you so much... :(
I'm so glad your sons don't know you're gone forever... sniff.

Bread :(
Don't say goodbye please...
I'm not ready to see you go...
I want to see you in my porch...
I want to hold you in my arms again....
I want to hear you outside my porch...
You didn't even get to finish your food and water....

Please...
Please come back... :(

Please come back...
Sorry guys, I'm so heartbroken right now... I'm out.

Trip to the Dentist

Well, I'm always asked to pay a visit to Abdul Samad's Pejabat Kesihatan
after every 6 weeks.
And so, I went this past Tuesday.
After recess.

But before I go on about the dental appointment, let me share with my readers about this chocolate you'd want to try.
Chocolate you say?
Yes, REAL cocoa chocolate.

As sinful as it sounds, it's about the 99% cocoa thing that gets you wondering.
I tasted it.
In a pretty bite-full actually.
Yummy, eh?

Excellence my diarrhea!
You know what, to save you the trouble from trying, I'll spare you some details.

This entire story is pretty much credited to Shaun Yau who bought it for Su Peng. Well, he said that he only bought it cause she said she loved 100% chocolate. Dark chocolate.
So, even he doesn't know what it tastes like.

Su Peng was KIND ENOUGH to distract me while I was innocently studying.
LOL.

See how diligent Mel is??

xD

Suddenly.

"Mel, you want some chocolate?"
*smiling*

"Oooh, chocolate? Looks nice. What kind of chocolate?"

"Hmmm, dark chocolate"

"... Is it nice..?"

"I dunno, you try lor..."

*come to think that I've never tasted dark chocolate before*
" Okay :) "

Not too long after munching and sucking on the chocolate in my mouth...
%$#@!
$#!T
$#!T

It was soooooo bitter man!
Some of my classmates say that perhaps shit taste better than this, LOL.
It sucked so bad, the taste was horrid!
And the worst part was, you can still taste it in your mouth even after a long time :/
It was damn bitter, thick and it sticks on your tongue.... what a nightmare!
*screams!*

We tried to teach our teacher who loves to eat sweet things a lesson.
Cause we want her to stop affecting her health which was worsening.
LOL, we offered her the chocolate.
DAMN, ROFLMAO.
She was going crazy and mad.... xD

I also made Shaun taste what he bought.
LOL, he was on the verge of constant barfing, lol.

People, I won't say so much lar.
Go try it.
I personally think this is perfect for games, LOL.

So.
Back to the orthodontics.

I was there waiting a long queue, when I happened to be seated next to this guy who was busy editing a movie on his laptop. I couldn't help but look cause he made movie editing look so easy and pro :D

Then, we started a conversation and got to know that we've got friend connections here and there. So happen that he was about to leave for KL for his studies in Taylor's College.
Everything happens for a reason :)

This is Kai Sheng :)
It was my pleasure to meet you!

And so.

Like I said in my entry last time, I was asked by Dr. Akmar to put on a headgear.
But apparently, she was too busy so she said next 6 weeks.
I was really happy cause she attended to me all the way without having any trainee doctors touching my enamels this time :D
I didn't get hurt at all!

Until.

My braces had some sharp edges which needed to be made blunt.
So, she handed me to the trainees.

*wails in sorrow*

This woman took some metal that spins like mad, meant to "hiris" iron okay.
IDIOTICALLY, she drill into my upper gums on both sides.
I was bleeding for 3 days and it hurt okay :(
Damn trainee.

I guess I spoke too soon :(
Big sighs.

So I went out to look at my braces.
I was surprised to see my bracket's bands are now dark purple.
What the??
I didn't even get to choose any colour this round :(
Dr. Akmar just put for me as she wished.

Anyways, it's CONFIRMED that I'll be wearing a headgear after 6 weeks.
Check out what it looks like :)

Headstrap.

Facebow.

The fastener to connect the facebow to the headstrap.

So empty, I'm the last to leave.
And I had to go back to school for my librarian duties.
What a bummer.

Hmmm, Mel will be like Willa Wonka soon.
LOL.
It'll be fun to scare the people on the bus.
LOL.... xD

* * * * * *

BB and I hanging in church.

Images as Mel walks home after school...

Goodnight! :)

P.S:
I purposely published the RAT DISSECTION EXPERIMENT 2 posts below. This was done for the faint-hearted. For those who think you can handle it and you'd like to see, go ahead and scroll down.
