At the end of the night, it was decided that BB and I stay over at Bryan's place while my parents send my sister back to KL.
Sniff sniff, it was too short :(

But anyways, we stayed over for the weekends cause we were also helping aunt Nerissa with worship by being her musicians for Sunday service.
We had great fun! :D

Hahaa, I swam for hours... as long as I could!
Did many laps, trained my breathing capacity by swimming from one end to another with only one breath.... lol, I thought I lost it!
Mel was a very, very happy girl :D

On Sunday, while having my last swim...
There was this girl who also came to the pool together with her elder sister and younger brother. Then after a while, she asked me if I was the one who played the bass guitar in FOA.... xD

Well, Erica's mum owned the place and they invited us to go.
So we had a nice experience there... haha.

I thought it was a restaurant/bistro that I was going to... until I went it.

It had a nice setting, but it was very pub-ish like.
I was like, okaaay... I'm bringing BB to a pub. Guilty, lol.
Well, none of us knew anyways! It was Bryan's and my first time there too.

When the dancefloor was open, aunt Nerissa invited me to the dancefloor to dance with her.
And while we were jiving away, some American dude who really looked like the Maroon 5's lead singer, REALLY, came and cut in between us and started dancing with me. I couldn't really tell Aunt Nery's expression, LOL...

Since we were dancing to a fast song, I didn't really mind lar... but after that he started getting pretty close, I was like okay, still nevermind... until he tried to touch/feel me man.
Okay lar, that was it.
I pushed the fella away and walked back to my seat.
I'm not gonna do this.... in front of my bro... LOL.

How Great Is Our Indescribable God...

"For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him."
Psalm 103:11

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.”
Psalm 19:1-4

This is our galaxy called the Milky Way.
It is one of the billions of other galaxies that are yet to be known in this universe.
And you can see that even our huge sun right there, is merely like a speck of dust on the Milky Way.
What more about planet earth?
Lol.

This, is our beloved sun.
No, it isn't like the ones we used to draw on paper with a smiley face.
It's raging with fire - like a planet with constant nuclear bombs all the time!

And how big is it compared to earth?

There you have it.
That's the approximate size of earth for comparison.
It takes 8 MINUTES for beams of light from the sun to hit your skin here on earth.

God hung each unique star, each unique solar system in its place - to declare the glory of God and His handiwork.

He called EACH of them by NAME and placed them each in his masterpiece.
Imagine naming each of these!



It's hard to fathom that all those tiny pin dots of light are larger than our earth. The picture above is actually of some of the stars in our Milky Way galaxy. Do you see the small red star in the middle? That's the closest star to our sun. It's name is Proxima Centauri. It "only" takes 4.22 years for light to reach us from that star.

God's lovingkindess towards us is as high as the heavens are above the earth. When I think about the vast canopy above me that is filled with more stars then we could possibly ever count, I can't help but bless the Lord for loving me with a love that is that vast.

Take a look at this picture.

If you had a telescope and followed the handle of the Big Dipper away from the dipper's bowl, until you get to the handle's last bright star, you would then just slide your telescope a little south and west and you'd find this stunning pair of galaxies.

The Whirlpool Galaxy is a classic spiral galaxy. At only 30 million light years away from us and fully 60 thousand light years across, this is one of the brightest and most picturesque galaxies in the sky. Anyone with a good pair of binoculars may also be able to find this beauty. It’s referred to a Grand Design Galaxy.


Astronomers affectionately call it “The Darling of the Universe” because its design is so beautiful. It’s a favorite for astronomers to photograph. The pink areas are star birthing incubators. The whole galaxy is made up of hundreds of billions of stars.

So how much does He love you and me?

Take a look.

The God of the universe, the One who made all the stars and galaxies,
made the tree that this cross was made from…
He was innocent, blameless and pure, yet He came to bear the weight of the world on His shoulders.

He died for you and me.

“... although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross.”
Philippians. 2:6-8

This is how much He loves you and me.
Eventhough we're just a tiny pale blue dot in space.

His matchless grace and lovingkindness is everywhere. Long before you decided what you were going to do with God, God decided what He was going to do with you. And that was to NOT give you what your sins deserved. But He gave His Son what your sins deserved. And to give you the gift of Himself. And an invitation to live forever with Him.


“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, would not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16



He unconditionally loves you.


If all the universe were made just for us, it would be too large. But it's not, it’s made to declare HIS GLORY. There are frontiers of space that scientists have yet to even see, but His glory is there.

Remember the Whirlpool Galaxy pictured above?
The one astronomers call "The Darling of the Universe"?

A few years ago they kept zooming in and zooming in to get a closer look at their darling. What they saw in the very center of the galaxy is pictured below. I promise you, this is an unaltered photo I took directly from the NASA website called Astronomy Picture of the Day.

Scientists call it the X Structure in the core of the Whirlpool Galaxy. I’m not here to make a scientific case, but I will tell you it’s huge. The beams reach 1100 light years across and the diameter of the beams is 100 light years.

(A light year is equal to 5.88 TRILLION miles!)


You can call it the X Structure in the core of the Whirlpool Galaxy, or you can call it a cross. But, could it be “Jesus, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8) It could just be a coincidence. But isn’t it amazing! 31 million light years away, this has been beaming all across the heavens since creation.



What are you facing?

There is NOTHING that can shake you out of the hand of God. He is not only holding the whole universe in the palm of His hand, He is holding you. His lovingkindness and grace is enough to hold onto you and to bring you through it all; able to still love Him, and rejoicing in His goodness, even in the darkness.



He loves you too much to let you go.
You can trust Him.

And the astronomers were zooming and zooming into this star to find out what's in its core.
This was what they found, and no it wasn't photoshopped or editted.

Whoa, huh?
Some call it the "Eye of God".
Well, even before they could find out what's in the middle, I always knew that God was watching me, all the time. He sees, knows and loves me inside out.

This is the Hubble Space Telescope that sweeps around the Earth once every 97 minutes. It is this thing that captured all the images you've just seen above, COMPLETELY. They transfer 2,560,000 pixels back to earth to convert them into AN image.
Dunno how many hours for just ONE pixel to return to earth!

And you're complaining your internet dial-up connection is very bad?
LOL.

Haha, you know, men could continue building the greatest of technologies to unveil the mysteries and wonders of God. But even as we keep discovering more and more, God just keeps blowing our minds away with His never ending wonders.

We're so tiny and small!

But yet, He loves and cares for us eventhough we're practically not visible at all in the universe!
But he does.. he sees us, each and everyone of us.

It is undeniable that God is truly great and magnificent.
He is in our very being!
How could anyone say that this universe popped out of nowhere, just like that?
It's so beautiful and with it's undiscovered mysteries, it definitely has a Creator.

I was totally blown away with whatever I've just known.
And I couldn't help but share it with you.
Otherwise, I'd be very selfish :)


How great is our indescribable God.

My foot sprained to the right side and cracked :(
Yes, the agony... ouch.

Praise and worship sessions.

Despite my injury, Benjamin Ong came and pleaded with me to choreograph a dance to FloRida-T-Pain's "Low". And because I was filled with God's overwhelming love, I choreographed the dance in about 20 minutes at about 2AM and taught the people the next day.

BY God's grace, my foot was getting healed throughout the camp though I was dancing and jumping for Him :D

You can see my leg curving into my ankle which is swelling up.
It's still a lil' agonizing.

It's so weird to see my leg expanded like this.
LOL.
Now I'm wondering how I could dance, hop and do whatever I did.
I can stand like normal still..


I guess my leg tissues are torn and maybe my veins twisted.
God has amazingly healed me in such a short amount of time.

And yes people, if you don't believe me that Christ is in our very body,

You tell me it could be just a coincidence.
But if coincidences happen too often, I tell you that it's no longer a coincidence.

Rude Malaysian.

In a public bus - 3 buddies had no seats and were standing in a bus.

Haikal : Fuhh, it's so hot today!
Mel : Omg, I'm damn hot...
Shariff : WTH, what you said again Mel?
Mel : I said... I'm feeling very hot. It's the baju kurung okay.
Haikal : No, you said you're "hot"...
Mel : Uhh?? No, no! I didn't mean it that way...

Three of us lol-ed together - we were speaking in a moderate-tone mind you.
When suddenly an alien voice intruded the lol-ness.

Brat : OYY, diam lah!

Mel : Ehh shh, what's that?
Noticed a malay man, mid 20s, wearing shades, who sat down at my left side.
I had a feeling it was him, so I talked in a clearer voice.
Mel : Who was that person huh? He think he owns the bus is it?

Proving my prediction to be right, that malay man spoke to himself again.

Brat : POK PEK, POK PEK, POK PEK.... bising betul lah!

Haikal was annoyed by that brat and stood up for me by speaking to himself loudly.

Haikal : Nak peace and quiet ambillah taxi. Ewww, pakai cermin mata tu ingat dia hensem ke? Please... fashion disaster, there's no sun in here. Untuk pengetahuan dia, ini bas awam, tak tahu AWAM ke? *talk-to-the-hand-gesture* Please...

That idiot mumbled to himself about us speaking in english and dozed back to sleep.
But he said nothing when we spoke in malay, which showed his dislike for english-speaking people. And while sleeping, he raised his feet up on to a barried next to where people need to hold the poles for support. What a jackass. He think he's the king of that freaking bus. He was also cuddling with his man-friend sleeping right next to him who does the same thing. Noobs.

When he woke up, he didn't see me because I was already seated right next to another person away from his sight, but we were still on the same row. And he and his friend started talking loudly in the bus like some &^%$#@! I could just roll my eyes, tak nak cari gaduh.

Then the person who sat next to me got down the bus, exposing me to that brat. So this time he didn't have his shades on, looked at me and then looked at me properly this time. I mean, he was looking at me up and down continuosly.

Then he started smiling, staring and flirting.

WTH.
WHAT A *TOOT*.

I had no time to layan idiots like this.
It took forever for my bus stop to arrive when he was doing that.
But I'm so glad that was over.
