Well, I didn't get to blog about last Saturday though.
For the longest time, we were having dinner with a few families in a karaoke room, LOL.
Come to think of it, I've never been to RedBox or GreenBox or whatever-Box at all, EVER.

Well, what happened after that leap day?
The Chess competition of course! :D

So it went like this.

I was on my way to school... till I fell asleep on the bus.
I went ahead by one stop, which was heading towars City Square, lol.
Pressing the buzzer quickly, I HAD to take a friggin' cab to school.
Ripped me off my RM4, lol, though it's so near...
WTH man.

Reached school and headed to the canteen, only to find a LOT of boys present.
Well, I'm studying in a boy's school, lol, DUH.
But I was waiting to see if there were any other form 6 girls competing.

And so I waited.
And waited...
And waited...
And... waited.
Well, I just waited.
And, I kept waiting.

Till I accepted the fact that NO girls were gonna come.
Great.
I won?

"Teacher, if that's the case, I won already... right?"
"Hmm, we were expecting 6 more girls so that we can make you girls a trophy but since you're the only one... I don't think so"
*Mel stood horrified*
"Huh, teacher... if that's the case, I don't think it's gonna be fair now, wouldn't it? As in, I have to compete against the boys...?"
"Mmm... I'm afraid you have to. Aww, I'm so sorry Melissa but things just happen. Just take it that you're just coming to compete for fun!"
*yeah, like, throwing in my RM5 only to get kicked in the bottom by boys... joy.*

And so we competed....
The guys are really all out for the game, and they are really good.
3 wins and 2 losses for me.

It was a tie for me and Shaun...
I know Shaun's a really good player but he was rushing and wasn't cautious.

So.

Mel got 3rd place man.

Today's also the last day of my tests!
Those horrid white-black-flats.
Geez man, I promise you.... most of us form six-ers kinda died.
LOL.

MUET was okay, as usual.
Biology and General Paper was still alright, but careless.
Chemistry, I think I let me Madam Koh down, lol.
Maths? What about it?
LOL.
But I'm so glad it's all over!

After the holidays however, it's back to physical torment and training.
Heh, being a school's triathlon isn't easy, huh?
It helps me lose weight though, hahaa.

The Leap Day.

Hahaa, as 2008 is the leap year this round, I had a leap day! :D
Hmmm, doesn't make much sense though, lol.

ANYWAYS.

It was a good day larrh! :D
My MUET assignment presentation was good, phew.
Eventhough I was really tired and very worn off from the tormenting sports practice everyday this week, filled with practices on javelin and discus throw.
Always reaching the bus stop at 7.30PM, dad picks me late, reach home 15 minutes+ later.

Discus throw was pretty challenging as I've NEVER played it before, and regards to javelin, I've only played it this year during sports day - both my FIRST time.
But I've got through it and that's all that matters.
Competition's after the holidays.
And the holidays are starting next Friday.
Whoohoo!

Honestly, I think I'm starting to build muscles.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I hate it!
I don't want them!
*cries*
Fyuhh, especially my legs man.
They kick serious ass, ROFL.

And.

It was Linda's birthday yesterday, hahaa.
But she celebrated it today though.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELOVED! :D

School's great really.
Seem to be making more friends with the juniors especially.

In tomorrow's news.
I'm gonna go to school for a chess competition.
And then rush to band practice after that cause I'm worship leading.
Sunday would be just as hectic and packed with service and the children's ministry.

Look how fragile they are when they just came into this world.

Oreo and Milo are males while Sugar, Cookie and Peanuts are females.

Now all snuggled up together comfortably... awww :)

The reason why Oreo got his name was because of that color combination of black brown and white with an "O" in the middle of his white helmet-like line on his head.
Milo on the other hand with a color combination of brown and white has a "M" shaped on his forehead too.
Now how cute can the brothers get, huh? (:

As for the sisters, Sugar gets her name for her white fur, Peanuts for the obvious and Cookie for its brown color with a thin line of white around it's neck and totally white from the neck to its belly underneath.

Well, Benroy and I came up with the names.
Hahaa.

So let me update on what else had been happening.

I was chosen by the school to represent SDJ in javelin, shot put and maybe discus throw.
They've been training us like mad... everyday, 3PM-6PM.
Run around the field dunno how many times, bumping, sit ups, star jumps and whatever-nots.
My skin is reddish-tan as a result from the cancerous scorching sun with ultra-violet rays.

This is going to continue for the entire an entire week next week or more.
Competition against the other JB schools are happening 4-9 March I think.
And my hand's already aching and sprained.
Sighs.


I also participated in the school's public speaking yesterday and made new friends.
Hahaa, more 15 year-old pals! :D
We're fellow interactors and we're getting along pretty well.
We already had the election of our B.O.D, finally, and I'm the I.U. Director.

We even played football...
Well, just for a short while before I went back to training.
It was a pretty awkward scence for some boys who watched us play.
Being the only girl in the group, it was something new I suppose.


Being in PERTINA as well, we're all busy planning for Teacher's Day.
I'm in charge for Entertainment and PA, and also planning for the Bowling competition cause I'm the president in charge of the event.

The homework and assignments are really large in portions too, not helping one bit.
And the TESTS are in two weeks time!
OMG.
